MEET RESULTSOld Westbury, NY----In their second meeting of the season, the Brooklyn College men's swimming team would sweep the season series against Old Westbury, defeating the Panthers tonight 128-72. The Old Westbury women's team avenged a November 10th loss to the Bulldogs, defeating BC 99-90 this evening. With their second victory in a row, the men's team improves to 4-2 overall on the season. The women's team drops to 2-4 with the loss. Both teams will return to action on January 11th at Baruch in a CUNYAC meet. The first event is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM.
After finishing second in the meet-opening 200-yard medley relay, the men's team produced first place finishes in the next six events to take a commanding lead. Freshman
Hugo Meza finished first in the 1000-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly. Freshman Patrick Limage also individually earned the Bulldogs 18 points on the evening, finishing first in the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke later on in the meet. The foursome of

Dmitriy Fisher, Patrick Limage, and
Shokrukh Nosirov finished the meet in first place in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:38.17.
Despite the loss, the meet could have gone either way from the start. BC's foursome of
Eva Chan,
Laura Tartan,
Rosalia Xue, and
Danielle Mollo-Siano would start the meet with a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. Freshman
Valerie Vassilieva continued her standout rookie campaign, winning the 200-yard and 100-yard freestyle finals. She also anchored the 200-yard freestyle foursome that closed the meet with a first-place finish. Junior
Eva Chan would win the 100-yard breaststroke as the only Bulldog in the heat.
