Weehawken, NJ --- The Brooklyn College Bulldogs had their season ended on Sunday, day two of the 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Metro/Upstate Softball Championships, at Weehawken Waterfront Park, as BC fell to Hunter College, 5-1.

The Hawks would strike first, as Victoria Slavik's solo homerun to right center in the bottom of the second got Hunter on the board, 1-0. The Hawks would later go up 2-0 on Christine Kline's RBI double to center field in the bottom of the fourth that scored Meghan O'Shea.

Brooklyn would cut its deficit to one, 2-1, in the top of the fifth, as Jamie Dolce's RBI single to center scored pinch runner Nathalie DeJesus.

Hunter would eventually put the game out of reach in the bottom of the sixth, as O'Shea's three-run homerun to left field plated both Slavik and Briana Kresback to give the Hawks the 5-1 lead and eventual final score.

Kayla Hill (12-10) took the loss for BC allowing five runs on eight hits, while striking out four over six innings. Her counterpart, Sara Beck (9-1) picked up the win allowing one run on three hits, while walking two and striking out eight over seven innings.
