Bulldogs Start Conference Play 2-0 After Knocking Off Medgar & CSI

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 New York, NY---Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball competed in the CUNYAC Multimatch on Saturday at CCNY, and in their first conference action of the year, the Bulldogs swept both Medgar Evers (25-0, 25-16, 25-6) and Staten Island (25-23, 25-20, 25-22), evening their overall record at 3-3 and opening their conference mark to 2-0.

"Today is a great example of what we are capable of when we play Brooklyn College Volleyball," said BC Head Coach Andy Mueller.  "OUr serve receive was stellar and we were able to stay aggressive throughout both matches."

Mueller's squad was paced by Christolia Butler in the day's second win, a competitve three-set victory over CSI.  The junior hitter led the Bulldogs with 10 kills.  Brianna Montana added six kills and five aces.

In the first match, Sasha Ropchand had a team-high eight kills in an easy win over Medgar Evers.

The team will be on the road on Tuesday when they travel to York for a 7 pm match against the Cardinals.
