Women's Volleyball Drops Big Conference Match to Lehman in Five

Box Score Bronx, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball team faced off with Lehman in the Bronx on Wednesday night, falling to the Lightning in five sets, 25-22, 25-27, 25-14, 20-25, 15-4.  With the win, Lehman edges ahead of Brooklyn for third place in the conference standings with a 4-1 CUNYAC record (7-5 overall), while the Bulldogs drop to 3-2 in league play (4-5 overall).

Christolia Butler continued to be impressive for Brooklyn, leading the team with 14 kills, while Francesca LoCascio and Sasha Roopchand added eight kills a piece.

The Lightning were led by Jo-Marie Aquino's standout performance and match-high 25 kills.

Brooklyn will look to regroup with a Pittsburgh trip this weekend, as they will compete at Carnegie Melon's tournament, where they should see some tough non-conference action.
