Box Score Montclair, NJ---The Brooklyn College Men's soccer team suffered a disappointing loss to Montclair State on Monday night, 8-0. The Bulldogs dropped to 3-4-1 on the year, while the Red Hawks improved to 10-1-0.

The game was a stalemate until Matt Hendrickson of Montclair connected on an assist from Brendan Guzman at the 21:00 minute mark. Montclair, currently ranked 10th in the NSCAA coaches poll was a formidable opponent, but after a second strike by Matt Hendrickson, the Bulldogs were down only 2-0 at the half.

The Bulldogs could not keep close, unraveling in the second half, while conceding six second half goals, and committing fundamental errors which aided by the pace of the Red Hawks attack. Coach Hensford stated "This experience will serve the team well in the long run, in terms of the focus it takes to play a complete game under extreme pressure".Â

The next opponent is Hunter College on Wednesday September 30th in a crucial conference matchup to for the Bulldogs who have aspirations of moving up in the CUNYAC standings. The game will be played on the Brooklyn College campus field at 4pm.
