Bulldogs Fall to Hunter in Home Meet

BC defeated by perennial confrence power, 132-66.

WEST QUAD CENTER Brooklyn, NY---Following a solid non-conference meet victory on Saturday's Alumni Day against Bard, the BC women's swimming and diving team fell tonight against Hunter, 132-66, in conference action.  The Bulldogs fall to 3-6 overall and 1-3 in the CUNYAC with the defeat; the Hawks improve to 10-2 overall and remain undefeated in the conference with a 5-0 record.  BC will be back in the pool on Monday, January 25, at home to host Lehman College on Senior Day with the men's team.  The joint meet is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM. 

MEET RESULTS

Diving for only the second time in a college meet, freshman Crystal Mieux would help the Bulldogs pick up nine points with successful 1 meter dives. 

Freshman Valerie Vassilieva would finish in second-place in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:52.25. 

Junior Ketcia Alvarez earned four points for the Bulldogs finishing in second-place in the 500 yard freestyle final.
