Staten Island, NY---Falling behind 2-0 on the road, the Brooklyn College men's soccer team wasn't able to complete a comeback, losing their first CUNYAC match of the season this afternoon at College of the Staten Island.  Brooklyn moves down to 5-6-1 overall 2-1-1 in the CUNYAC.  CSI improves to 6-3-2 and 3-1-1.  The Bulldogs will return to conference play on Wednesday as they host Medgar Evers.  KIckoff is scheduled for 4:00 pm.  

The home team struck first in the 25th minute on a header off of  a free kick.  CSI took then took a 2-0 lead on a through ball that curled into the corner of the goal past freshman BC goalie Jerron Streete.  

Brooklyn responded in the 66th minute with senior midfielder Omer Capoglu heading in a free kick by senior forward Valentyn Kharko.  However, it proved to to be too little too late for the Bulldogs as the Dolphins held on for the 2-1 win.  

Freshman goalkeeper Jerron Streete finished the match with five saves while facing 22 shots.
