Flushing, NY---The #5-seeded Brooklyn College women's tennis team ended their season this afternoon, falling to #4-seed John Jay, 5-0, in the quarterfinals of the CUNYAC Championships.  Brooklyn closes out the season with a 4-11 overall record.  John Jay will advance to CUNYAC semifinals against #1 seed Baruch on Tuesday.  

After sweeping through doubles play, the Bloodhound won No. 1 and No. 2  singles matches to solidify the victory.  The Brooklyn No. 2 doubles pair of Rebecca Solano and Elizaveta Meshkalova were just edged 9-8, which would have given the Bulldogs more hope heading into singles play.
