Bronx, NY---Facing one of their toughest tests of the season, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team fell in non-conference play to No. 23 nationally ranked New York University this evening, 4-0. The Bulldogs drop to 4-4-1 overall on the season with the loss. NYU improved to 7-1-2 with the victory. BC will be back at it on Wednesday, 10/5, on the road at Purchase in another non-conference match. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
The Violets scored the winning goal in the 18th minute of the match. However, Brooklyn was able to keep NYU at bay until the 79th minute. The host scored two goals in the final ten minutes to seal the deal.
NYU was the agressor all match long outshooting the Bulldogs 25-0.
