New York, NY---The Brooklyn women's volleyball ended their season this evening, falling to Hunter College, 3-0, in the semifinals of the CUNYAC Championships. Brooklyn ends the season with an overall record of 9-22. The Bulldogs made a two win improvement from last season and advanced to the CUNYAC semifinals for the first time since 2013.
The Bulldogs hung in early in every set this event, but the #1 seeded Hawks would eventually pull away with a consistent flurries of points in each set. Brooklyn was closest in the second set as they were tied 9-9 toward the middle of the game. However, the Hawks went on a three-point run and never looked back to close out the set 25-16.
