CHRISTOPHER NEWPORT UNIVERSITY Newport News, VA---The stage is set and this evening, 3/4, at 5:30 pm the 2016 CUNYAC Champion Brooklyn College (22-6) men's basketball team will tip-off against the New York University Wildcats (20-5) in the First Round of the 2016 NCAA Division III Tournament.  The last time the teams met was back during the 2011-12 regular season, with NYU coming out victorious 78-70.  It is the Bulldogs' first NCAA appearance since the 2009-10 season and fourth appearance in the program's history.  NYU returns to the Tournament after a three year hiatus.

The winner of tonight's game will play the winner of the second game of the evening between host, #4 Christopher Newport University, and Lycoming College tomorrow, 3/5, at 7:00 PM in the tournament's Second Round.
