New Rochelle, NY---The Brooklyn College Bulldogs brought their season record to 1-2 with their first victory under first-year head coach David Wallis, a 9-0 decision over non-conference opponent New Rochelle.

The Bulldogs made a clean sweep of doubles, and then saw the middle of their lineup come up big against their Blue Angel counterparts, taking the #3 through #5 matches all by scores of 10-0.

For #2 singles player, Claudia Mizrahi, it was her first singles win as a Bulldog, as she defeated CNR's Iyesogie Aghahowa, 10-4.  It was also Wallis' first win as the Brooklyn coach.  

"The team played wonderfully today," said Wallis of his squad. "We are thrilled to get our first win!"

The team will be back in action on Thursday as they host Baruch.
