Women's Soccer Improves to 2-0 in CUNYAC Play with 3-0 Win Over York

Box Score Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Soccer Team dominated their second home, and CUNYAC contest of the season, winning a 3-0 decision over York to climb to 3-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play, while the Cardinals fall to 2-3, 1-1.  

Brooklyn got goals from Victoria Ramirez, Cansu Usta and Jordan Kerwin, while goalkeeper Samantha Rodriguez pitched a shutout.

For Ramirez, a freshman, it was her team-high fourth goal on the young season.

Leslie Gomez, Anna Curran and Jasmine Fermin assisted on the three scores, while the Bulldogs out-shot the Cardinals, 37-4, for the contest.

Brooklyn will host Medgar Evers on Wednesday as they look to go 3-0 in league play.
