Women's Volleyball Picks Up First Win of Season

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 St. Mary's City, MD---The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball team continued play on Day 2 of the St. Mary's College Tournament, facing a familiar foe, conference opponent Medgar Evers, in what counted as a non-conference match, as the Bulldogs swept the Cougars to pick up their first win on the 2016 season.

Brooklyn won the match 25-11, 25-9, 25-11. In the day's other match for BC, they fell to William Peace University, 25-17, 25-16, 25-9. Sarina Rozek made the all-tournament team for the Bulldogs who will return to play with road matches at CCNY (Tuesday) and Mount Saint Mary (Wednesday), before returning home to host Lehman on Thursday.

The Lehman match on Thursday will be the team's whiteout night, in which the first 150 fans in attendance will get a free Brooklyn College Bulldogs t-shirt.
