Box Score New York, NY---The Brooklyn College women's volleyball team won their second match in a row and first CUNYAC match of the season this evening, shutting out CCNY 3-0 (26-, 24, 25-22, 25-15).  BC moves to 2-9 with the victory and 1-2 in the CUNYAC.  The Bulldogs return to the road tomorrow at Mt. St. Mary.  Opening serve is scheduled for 7pm.  BC will return home Thursday to host Lehman at 6pm on a White-Out Night where the first 150 fans will receive a Brooklyn College Athletics t-shirt.

Senior outside hitter Christolia Butler led the match with ten kills including a block.  The Bulldogs' 30 kills almost doubled the Beavers' 16 for the match.  

In close matches the first two sets to the finishes, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 20-10 lead to close out the match for the shutout.  

Freshman Monineath Pen led the match with 17 assists.  Pen, junior Sarina Rozek, and senior Crystal Wu all finished with ten digs.  Rozek also ended the match with nine kills.
