Box Score Newburgh, NY---After winning a couple in a row for their first two wins of the season including their first conference victory at CCNY last night, the Brooklyn College women's volleyball team fell on the road this evening at Mt. St. Mary, 0-3. Brooklyn drops to 2-10 on the season. The Bulldogs have a quick turnaround, hosting Lehman in CUNYAC action tomorrow on
White-Out Night where the first 150 fans receive a Brooklyn College Athletics t-shirt. Doors open at 5:30 pm with opening serve scheduled for 6:00 pm.
Things looked good early for the Bulldogs to start the match, jumping out to 5-1 advantage in the first set. However, the Knights responded with a couple of flurries of their own to take a 9-8. The first set remained tight to the end with the Knights scoring the final three points to take a 1-0 lead, winning the first set 25-21.
MSMC jumped out to a 5-0 lead to start the second set and never really looked back. The third set mirrored the second with the Knights jumping out to a 6-0 lead making the Bulldogs play catch-up.
