Staten Island, NY---After winning two of their last three matches, the BC women's tennis team will have to wait for their first CUNYAC win, falling at Staten Island 8-1. BC drops to 2-4 overall on the season with all four losses in CUNYAC play. The Bulldogs will be making up a non-conference match on Monday at Kean. Doubles play is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm.
The one bright spot for the Bulldogs today was junior
Muriel Dervich's victory at No. 1 singles. After edging Nozima Toshpulatova 7-6, Dervich would lose the second set 0-6. However, she would regroup in the tie-breaker squeaked by Toshpulatova, 10-8, for the Bulldogs only victory of the afternoon.
