Women's Soccer Match At Rutgers-Newark Ends in Draw

Box Score Newark, NJ---The BC women's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie this evening in non-conference play at Rutgers-Newark this evening.  Brooklyn moves to 4-3-1 with the draw.  Rutgers-Newark moves to 1-7-2.  

Following a scoreless regulation, the two teams played through two overtimes without a score.  

Outshot 33-5 on the evening, senior goalie Samantha Rodriguez, who was named the CUNYAC Defensive Player of the Week this afternoon, finished the evening with a season-high 17 saves.  Rodriguez helped the Bulldogs escape the two overtimes with four saves.  

Freshman forward Victoria Ramirez managed the Bulldogs' shot on goal.
