Box Score Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Soccer Team celebrated senior day before taking on CUNYAC opponent CCNY, sending off their class of seniors, Ashley Calandra, Iliana Cabral, Cansu Usta and Gabriella Naquila, but could not capture the victory, falling to the Beavers, 4-2.

"Our seniors played hard and tried to carry us today, but unfortunately we dug ourselves an early hole that we could not climb out of said," said BC Head Coach, Patrick Horne.

Match Notes

-The Beavers, who currently only have one conference blemish, a 6-3 defeat to Lehman, jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of action.
-Cansu Usta, one of BC's seniors honored prior to play, brought the Bulldogs back into contention with a first half goal of her own in the 16th minute. 
-CCNY would strike again right before the half as Amy Gomez notched her second goal of the game to give the Beavers a 4-1 halftime lead.
-After over 36 minutes of scoreless play, Usta struck again, taking a cross from classmate Iliana Cabral, and brought her team within two, 4-2, in the game's 79th minute.
