New York, NY---The Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team dropped a 54-40 decision in CUNYAC action at John Jay College this evening. BC moves to 1-2 overall with the loss. The Bloodhounds picked up their first win of the young season with the victory. Brooklyn continues conference competition at home on November 30th against Lehman College at 6:00 pm.

-Freshman Semona Bardman finished first in the 100 yard backstroke final with a time of 1:17.41.
-Sophomore Maryia Shaban finished second in the 50 yard freestyle final with a time of 30:49.
-Freshman Melanie Deringer finished second in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:57.29.
-Freshman Ashley Loo finished second in the 100 yard butterfly final with a time of 1:21.77.
-Brooklyn scored big points late with a First Place finish in the 200 yard freestyle relay final with a time of 2:07.01.
