Men's Swimming and Diving Edged by Lehman, 119-115 in Conference Meet

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's swimming and diving team dropped a heartbreaking, 119-115, loss to Lehman College in conference action last night.  BC moves to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in CUNYAC.  Lehman improved to 3-1 overall and 1-0 against conference opponents.  The Bulldogs remain home on 12/2 as they host Bard College in a non-conference dual meet. 

Meet Notes

-The Lightning took advantage of 13 uncontested 3-meter diving points, helping their final score.  
-The teams were neck-and-neck throughout the meet.  Brooklyn finished the meet with a 7-5 advantage in the swimming events.  Lehman would win both diving events.  
-Junior Joe Lee had another strong performance, winning the 200 yard IM, the 100 yard freestyle, and helping the 200 yard medley relay squad to a First Place finish.  
-Freshman Thomas Wong finished first in the 100 yard breast stroke with a time of 1:30.97 and helped the 200 yard freestyle relay squad to a First Place finish. 
-Sophomore Peter Khimitch finished first in the 50 yard freestyle final with a time of 23.76.
