Box Score Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball team moved into a first place tie in the CUNYAC standings with Lehman on Friday evening, knocking off John Jay, 77-38, on Senior Night at the West Quad Center. The Bulldogs, who honored their seven seniors prior to tip-off, improved to 18-5, 13-2 CUNYAC with the win, their fourth consecutive.

Gretchen Vila were each honored prior to tip-off in typical Bulldog Senior Night fashion.
"Tonight was a fantastic evening to honor our senior class, which has been a tremendous group," said head coach
Alex Lang. "We have a great group of players, teammates and people who make coaching them a joy."
The game began with some back and forth play, while Brooklyn led early, the visitors cut the lead to two, 17-15 to start the second quarter. The Bulldogs ended the half on a 25-6 run, taking control of the game and a 21-point lead into the locker room.
Olivia Colbert led all scorers with 18 points on 6-8 from the field and a perfect 6-6 from the charity stripe.
Kailyn Richburg added 14 points off the Brooklyn bench, while
Karen Mak and
Taylor Gallagher each had game-highs with four steals a piece.
Justine Vento was a perfect 2-2 from three-point range in only six minutes of action.
The Bloodhounds were led by Claire Prince's 16 points.
Brooklyn will return to action on Monday as they travel to York to take on the Cardinals in their final CUNYAC game of the season, a 6 pm start.
