Bronx, NY---The Brooklyn College men's volleyball team dropped their second CUNYAC of the season this evening, falling at Lehman, 3-0 (20-25, 22-25, 17-25). BC is now 5-2 in conference and 12-8 overall on the season. Lehman improved to 14-9 and 6-1 with their seventh win in a row. Brooklyn defeated the Lightning, 3-0, in a non-conference match back on March 9 in Brooklyn. The Bulldogs continue conference play a week from today at Baruch.
The home team came to play from the opening serve, jumping out to a 7-1 lead to start the match. Brooklyn would close the gap to trail the Lightning 18-15 down the stretch in the first set. However, Lehman responded to any Brooklyn point until the final point of the set.
Brooklyn would find themselves playing catch-up once again in the second set, falling behind 18-9. Trailing 20-12, the Bulldogs showed some resilience, scoring eight of the next nine points to cut the Lehman lead to 21-20. After trading points, the Lightning closed out the set with back-to-back points.
The story of the evening, Lehman jumped out to another early lead in the third set never to trail for the rest of the match. Lehman ended the match with a kill.

Vaughn Titus' ten kills. Lehman's Roberto Ventura Diaz finished with a match-high 18 kills.
