Purchase, NY---The Brooklyn College women's tennis team moved to .500 this afternoon, falling at Purchase College, 8-1. BC will look to bounce back on Thursday in conference play against Baruch College.

-Despite playing one slot above her usual position, sophomore Georgeen Belrose gave the Bulldogs their lone win of the afternoon by defeating Purchase's Catherine Pasquale in No. 2 singles (6-2, 6-2)
-Freshman Rosa Aksanov and senior Rebecca Solano were edged 9-8 (7-3) in No. 1 doubles.  
-BC played without No. 1 singles and doubles, Ievgeniia Kostenko, today.
