Bronx, NY---A few defensive blunders early in the match would doom the Brooklyn College men's soccer team this afternoon in their CUNYAC opener at Lehman. The 4-0 loss drops BC down to 1-3-2 overall on the season. Lehman improves to 4-2 with the victory. Brooklyn continues their five-game road stretch on Wednesday at William Paterson in non-conference action.
"We made a few defensive mistakes early on that we wouldn't be able to recover from," BC Head Coach, Joe Andre would comment after the match.
Match Notes
-The Lightning scored the winning goal in the eigth minute of the match. Lehman took a 2-0 halftime lead in the 25th minute on a play from the far side of the box.
-Lehman's Moro Omar finished with five points on the day finishing with a pair of goals and an assist.
-The home team would out-shoot the Bulldogs 15-6 for the match including 7-1 on shots-on-goal.
