Brooklyn Falls to Lehman at Home

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's basketball dropped a conference game at the West Quad Center to Lehman tonight, 80-56.  The Bulldogs drop to 4-14 overall and 4-6 in CUNYAC with the loss.  Lehman improves to 14-4 and is a top of the conference standing with a 9-1 mark in CUNYAC.  Brooklyn continues CUNYAC play on the road at Medgar Evers on Wednesday.  Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm. 

How It Happened

-Leading by 11 points at halftime, the visitors controlled the flow of the game the entire second half extending their lead to as many as 24 points on three different occasions. 
-Trailing 9-2 to start the game, the Bulldogs went on an 8-2 capped by made three buried by senior guard Maynard Grant IV to pull within one, 11-10, with 14:03 left in the first half. After junior forward, Daniel Shulman, finished a layup to cut the Lightning lead to five, 23-18, Lehman responded with a 9-0 run for a 14-point lead, 32-18, with 3:48 remaining in the first half.

-The Lightning shot 47.8% from the field for the game to the Bulldogs' 27.3%.

-Jean Marcial added 18 points and also grabbed eight boards.
