Women's Swimming and Diving Drops Conference Meet to Hunter

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team dropped their final CUNYAC meet of the regular season to Hunter College, 115-72, at the West Quad Center tonight. BC moves to 3-6 overall and 2-4 in CUNYAC with the loss. Hunter improved to 10-2 and 6-0 in the conference and remains a top the CUNYAC standings. The Bulldogs will be right back at tomorrow in a non-conference dual meet for their regular season finale at the West Quad Center against St. Joseph's Brooklyn for BC Swimming and Diving Homecoming.  The first 125 fans will receive a free BC Athletics t-shirt.  Doors open at 5:00 pm with the meet beginning at 6:00 pm.

MEET RESULTS

Meet Highlights

-Melanie Deringer finished second in the 100 yard backstroke final with a time of 1:18.63.
-Semona Bardman and Alyssa Taylor finished in third place and fourth place respectively in the 50 yard freestyle final.
-Crystal Mieux helped the Bulldogs to 9 points for the 1 meter dive.
