Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's soccer team dropped a tough non-conference match at home today, falling to The College of New Jersey, 9-0. Brooklyn drops to 3-13-1 with the loss while the Lions improved to 9-4-2 with the win. The Bulldogs close out conference play in their final home match of the regular season on Wednesday, October 17th. Kickoff is set for 4:00 pm and will be the first match of a Homecoming soccer doubleheader. The first 125 fans will receive a FREE BC Athletics t-shirt.
TCNJ scored the game-winner in the 5' and never looked back, grabbing a 4-0 halftime lead. The Lions out-shot the Bulldogs 18-2 in th first half.
Brooklyn found themselves a man down the entire second half due to injuries and the Lions took advantage beginning in the 62'.
