Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn women's soccer team dropped a tough 6-1 decision to Lehman College in conference play this evening at Brooklyn College Field.  BC will not qualify the CUNYAC Championships this season with the loss.  Brooklyn is now 3-9 overall and 2-3 in CUNYAC play while Lehman improved to 7-4-1 overall and 3-1 in the conference.  The Bulldogs close out their conference schedule at the College of Staten Island on Saturday, October 20.  Kickoff is set for 11:00 am.

Lehman got on the board in the 8' of play and tacked on a pair to take a 3-0 lead in the first fifteen minutes of action.  

BC senior forward, Keri Kenna, scored the Bulldogs lone goal of the match in the 26' on a cross from freshman midfielder, Astrid Rivera.  However, Lehman kept its distance with a goal in the 33' to take a 4-1 halftime lead.  

The Bulldogs kept Lehman scoreless in the first twenty minutes of the second half, but Lehman wore BC down, and scored in the 66'.  Lehman scored the final goal of the evening in the 73'.

Lehman out-shot the Bulldogs 23-6 for the match.
