Brooklyn, NY---With home court advantage for the upcoming CUNYAC Championships on the line, the Brooklyn College men's volleyball team pulled out a 3-1 (25-20, 22-25, 25-22, 25-23) win over Lehman College this evening to secure Fourth Place in the conference. Brooklyn improves to 13-8 overall and 5-2 in CUNYAC with the victory while Lehman drops to 14-12 and 4-3. The Bulldogs wrap up the regular season on Tuesday, April 3, against Baruch College. Opening serve is set for 6:00 pm at the West Quad Center. Prior to the match, Brooklyn will honor this year's seniors on Senior Night.
By the Set
-With the opening ste tied, 15-15, the Bulldogs took the lead for good with a four-point rally capped by a kill put away by sophomore middle hitter Ahmed Moawad to give BC the 19-15 advantage. Junior outside hitter, Vaughn Titus, ended the set with a kill.
-The Lightning answered the call in the second set, jumping out to a 4-0 lead to start. BC would come back early before Lehman went on four-point tear that gave them a 12-6 lead. Playing catch-up the remainder of the set, the Bulldogs did cut the Lehman lead to 22-21 down the stretch, but LC picked up two scores in a row on Brooklyn errors before ending the set with a kill.
-Played back and forth the entire third set, the Bulldogs would lead late, 23-22. Brooklyn ended the set and took advantage of the match on two straight scores sparked by a kill put away by senior middle hitter
Ian Miranda.
-After Brooklyn jumped out to a commanding 10-3 lead to start the fourth set, the Lightning battled back, to take a 22-21 lead late in the set. Trailing 23-22, the Bulldogs ended the match with three straight scores beginning with a kill hit by Moawad.

-Tituts led Brooklyn with 12 kills. Moawad added 10 kills.
-Sophomore defensive specialist, Kyle Lu, served up a pair of key aces.
-Senior middle hitter
Moaz Ali Choudhary, finished with four blocks.
-Junior setter Sayuj Zachariah finished with a match-high 34 assists.
Leading the Lightning
-Roberto Ventura Diaz finished with a match-high 14 kills. Yaw Eshun finished with 12 kills. Filipe Velandia added 11 kills.
-George Montilla set for 29 assists and served up a pair of aces.
