Morristown, NJ---The Brooklyn College men's tennis team improved to .500 (5-5) overall on the season with an 8-1 victory at the College of St. Elizabeth in a non-conference match this afternoon. CSE dropped to 0-9 with the loss. The Bulldogs close out the regular season tomorrow, April 24, at home against Rutgers-Newark on Senior Day. Play is scheduled to start at 3:30 pm on the Roosevelt Courts. Prior to the match, Brooklyn seniors will be recognized.
Brooklyn took all three doubles matches to begin the afternoon before cruising through No. 1 through No. 5 singles. No. 6 singles proved to be battle to the very end, but the Eagles prevailed at the flight, with a 10-7 victory in the tie-breaker.
