Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's soccer team dropped a non-conference match at home this afternoon, falling to New York Universtiy, 3-0. The Bulldogs are now 1-8 overall on the season while NYU improved to 7-1 with the victory. Brooklyn remains on its home pitch on Monday against Manhattanville College. Kickoff is set for 4:00 pm.
The scored the game-winner in the 41' to take a 1-0 halftime lead. Controlling the tempo the majority of the match, NYU added a pair of goals later in the second half to secure the win.
BC had an opportunity to tie the match in the 73' on a through pass but the shot went wide. It was the Bulldogs' lone shot on the afternoon.
NYU out-shot the Bulldogs 21-1 including 11-0 on goal.

Balint Barabas, had a solid outing in the net, finishing with eight saves on the day and broke up numerous NYU crosses.
