Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's soccer team scored the first goal of the match, but evetually wasn't able to hang on, falling to conference leader, Baruch College, 2-1, this afternoon at Brooklyn College Field.  Brooklyn drops to 1-10 overall and 1-2 in conference play while the Bearcats improve to 6-4 and remain undefeated (4-0) in CUNYAC.  The Bulldogs will look to bounce back against CCNY on Wednesday against CCNY on Randall's Island at 6:30 pm.

Match Summary

-Brooklyn junior midfielder, Alex Sosa, put the Bulldogs up 1-0 in 52' after a scoreless first half.  
-The Bearcats scored the equalizer only five minutes later on a  through ball to a one-on-one with the goalie.  
-Baruch's Adonis Martinez scored the game-winner in 82' from the top of the box without much pressure after gathering the ball in a crowd. 
-The match was played evenly throughout with the Bulldogs slightly outshooting the Bearcats 13-12.  However, Baruch finished with a slight edge in shots-on-goal (8-6).  
-BC sophomore goalie, Lorenzo Davies, finished with six saves for the day.
