Purchase, NY---The Brooklyn College women's swimming and diving team dropped its first dual meet of the season, falling to Purchase College, 97-78, this evening on the road.  Brooklyn will look to rebound as they open at home in conference action against York College on Friday, November 15, at 6pm.  

Meet Summary

-The Bulldogs began the meet with a first place finish in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 2:20.29 earning the them 11 points.
-Sophomore Emily Yang took first place in the 400 yard IM with a time of 5:34.82. She earned nine more points for BC with a win in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:21.20. 
-Freshman Julie Huang finished second in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:27.62.  
-Senior Natalia Mrzglod finished second in the 200 yard freesyle with a time of 2:46.60.
