USTA National Tennis Center----The Brooklyn College women's tennis team dropped to 0-4 to start the season as they fell to John Jay this afternoon in both teams' conference opener, 6-3.  Brooklyn will look for their first win on Saturday, September 21, as they travel to Sarah Lawrence for a non-conference match at 1pm.  

Match Summary

-The Bloodounds took a 2-1 lead following doubles play and scored convincing wins in singles in the No. 3 through No. 6 flights. 
Brooklyn continues to look strong at the top of the lineup with No. 1 Tamila Latif-Zade and No. 2 Clara Bosch Mas pairing up to win No. 1 Flight doubles, 8-4.  Latif-Zade would go on to win her singles match 7-6 (7-0), 6-3.  Bosch Mas cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win.
