Brooklyn, NY---The defending CUNYAC champs suffered a season opening loss at home at the hands of Yeshiva this evening, 7-2.  It was also Yeshiva's first match of the season.  Brooklyn was without CUNYAC Preseason Player of the Year, Tamila Latif-Zade.  Brooklyn will have the rest of the week to prepare for Farmingdale State on Monday, September 9, at home at 4:00 pm.  

First-year Bulldog, Clara Bosch Mas, gave Brooklyn a boost on the afternoon.  She gave BC its only win in singles, defeating the Macs' Bailey Frohlich in convincing fashion.  She also scored a victory with doubles partner, Svitlana Muravska, defating YU's Frohlich and Shana Adler, 8-6.
