Brooklyn, NY---In a physical match from end to end, a pair of first half goals scored by SUNY Polytechnic made the difference handing the Brooklyn College men's soccer team its second loss to start the season.  SUNY Poly picked up its first win of the season improving to 1-1.  The Bulldogs will look to for its first win of the season on Monday, September 8, as they host Farmingdale State at 4:00 pm at Brooklyn College Field.  

Match Summary

-SUNY Poly's standout forward, Jamar Gayle, scored the game-winner on a header off of a loose ball in 16'.  He scored his second in 41' pushing the ball up the left side and beating the keeper to the lower lefthand corner of the net. 
-The Bulldogs did have its opportunities out-shooting the Wildcats 15-10 for the match including 7-6 in shots-on-goal. 
-Both teams combined for 30 fouls for the match.  

Leading the Bulldogs

-Demyan Turiy finished with shots including three on-goal. 
-Goalkeeper Lorenzo Davies finished with four saves in all ninety minutes of play. 

Leading the Wildcats

-Gayle totaled four points on the day with his unassisted goals. 
-James D'Alessio finished with seven saves for the clean sheet.
