Staten Island, NY----Paced by senior guard
Anthony McClean's season-high 23 points, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team rolled to a 77-60 win at the College of Staten Island this afternoon. BC improves to 4-8 with the win while CSI drops to 5-10. The Bulldogs will look to keep their momentum going at Keystone College on Monday, January 13, at 7pm.
Game Summary
-Trailing the home team 8-7 with a tick under 16 minutes to play in the first half, the Bulldogs exploded for a 16-0 run including four three-point makes in a row to spark the rally. Senior guard
Michael Tesoriero started the run with back-to-back three-point makes. He buried his third after a trey drained by freshman forward,
Elisha Park. Junior guard,
Kayin Olajide capped the run at the 12:30 mark with a pair of makes at the free-throw line.
-Brooklyn extended their lead to as many as 19 points in the first half. A McClean three gave Brooklyn 41-22 advantage with 3:54 left in the first half. He would give BC a 43-24 halftime lead after two free-throw makes.
-Brooklyn extended their lead to as many as 20 points following a McClean make in the paint for their largest advantage of the contest with 14:48 left in the contest.
-CSI would go on a 9-0 run cutting BC's lead to 56-48 with 9:00 remaining in regulation. BC responded, driving their led back up to 14 points before the Dolphins made one last run to get as close as seven points (62-55) with 5:18 to go. Brooklyn would then make their boldest statement of the contest with a 10-0 run down the stretch capped by a McClean three-point make giving BC a 72-55 advantage with 1:45 left in the game.

-McClean's game-high 23 points came on 7-12 shooting from the floor including 3-6 from beyond the arc. He also grabbed five rebounds.
-Tesoriero added 14 points while shooting 4-8 from three. He also dished out four assists and came up with three steals.

Noah Shy, scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds off of the bench.
