Brooklyn, NY---Led by Jordan guard
Jordan Wright's BC career-high 33 points, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team pulled out a 95-87 conference win at Medgar Evers College tonight. Brooklyn improves to 9-9 overall and 6-2 in CUNYAC with the win while the Cougars drop to 5-13 overall and 2-7 in conference play. Next up, the Bulldogs return home on Friday to host Hunter College in the second part of a conference doubleheader at 7:15 pm.
Game Summary
-Taking and keeping the lead from the game's first basket to the final buzzer, the Bulldogs led by as many as 19 points with 10:32 left in regulation.
-Leading 12-9, the Bulldogs went on a 9-0 run capped by a made three splashed by senior guard,
Michael Tesoriero.
-The Cougars responded, pulling within three points on a couple of occasions, but never able to get closer. BC head into halftime with a 48-42 advantage. Wright scored 18 points in the first half on 7-8 shooting from the floor
-After Medgar Evers scored the first bucket of the second half, the Bulldogs kicked thier lead back up to 12 points thanks to an 8-0 run capped by an
Elisha Park fast-break layup with 17:37 to go.
-Senior guard,
Anthony McClean, gave Brooklyn a 65-47 lead with a three-point make with 15:41 remaining in the second half.
-The Cougars didn't go away, cutting the Bulldog lead to 88-82 following a three-point make with a little over a minute to play. However, another Park fast-break finish and four straight makes from the charity stripe in the final thirty seconds of action sealed the win for the Bulldogs.

-Wright's game-high came on 13-16 shooting from the floor including 2-3 from beyond the arc and 5-7 from the free-throw line. He also grabbed seven boards and dished out five assists.
-Park finished with 13 points on 5-6 shooting from the field.
-McClean added 11 points while shooting a perfect 4-4 from the free-throw line.
-Tesoriero was all over the stat sheet finishing with 10 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.

-Keison McIntosh scored a team-high 15 points.
-Mousa Sinera added 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the game's only double-double.
