Randall's Island, NY-----Despite tying the match in the first half, the Brooklyn College women's soccer team fell in their CUNYAC opener, 5-2, to CCNY on Wednesday evening. BC drops to 0-10 overall, while CCNY improves to 5-5 and 2-0 in conference play. The Bulldogs continue their conference slate against John Jay at College of Staten Island on Saturday at 12pm.
CCNY jumped out on top first in 7' on a MacKenzie Moreno goal. However, the Bulldogs would respond in 24' on a
Priscilla Vixama goal assisted by
Wendy Daza.
Only a minute later, the Beavers scored the game-winner to take a 2-1 halftime lead. They would go on to score three more goals in a row to start the second half.
CCNY out-shot Brooklyn 31-5 for the match. Four of the Bulldogs' five shots were on-target.
