Box Score Randall's Island, NY---In typical postseason fashion, a goal was all the Brooklyn College men's soccer team needed to knock off Hunter College, 1-0, on Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the CUNYAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament. The No. 5 seeded Bulldogs move to 5-10 overall with the win and advance to the semifinals at No. 1 seed Lehman on Saturday at 12pm. Hunter closes out the season with a 4-10 record.
Looking to avenge a 2-0 regular season loss at home to the Hawks, the Bulldogs matched the Hawks shot for shot in the first half with both teams getting 10 in the first 45 minutes of play. Despite the aggressive offensive play, the first half would end in a 0-0 stalemate.
The first fifteen minutes of the second half mirrored the first before freshman forward,
Angel Godinez, scored the game-winner in 60' on an assist from senior forward,
Arturo Zaraza.
Brooklyn would be the busier team offensively in the second half, out-shooting Hunter 9-3.

Balint Barabas, recorded his first clean sheet of the season, finishing with four saves in all 90 minutes of action.
