Brooklyn, NY---Despite scoring the match's first goal, the No. 5 seed Brooklyn College men's soccer team wasn't able to hold off a high octane offensive attack by top-seed, Lehman, eventually falling to the Lightning 5-1 in the semifinals of the CUNYAC Championships semifinals. BC ends the season with a 5-11 overall record, while Lehman heads to the conference Championship with a 10-3-1 mark.
The Bulldogs got on the board first in this win in 19' on a
Brian Navarrete goal off of a rebound. Lehman responded ten minutes later for the equalizer on a goal off of a rebound of their own.
The Lightning would get into an offensive flow, scoring two more goals to end the first half for a 3-1 advantage at the break. Ebenezer Otoo scored a goal and assisted on one in the first 45 minutes of action; he later added an assist on the final goal of the match.
Lehman out-shot the Bulldogs 17-9 for the match, including 11-3 in shots-on-goal.
The Lightning added a goal in 51' and the final score of the match in 88'.
