Box Score Brooklyn, NY---Taking the court for the first time since 2019, the Brooklyn College women's tennis team dropped their 2021 Season Opener at home to Sarah Lawrence this afternoon.  Sarah Lawrence improves to 1-0 with their season opening win.  Brooklyn will look to bounce back at Purchase College on Tuesday, September 14.  

BC took one of three doubles matches at the No. 2 position with Monica Prado Capon and Veronika Tsiko shutting out Ghiyun Donnelly and Ellie O'Brien.  Tsiko would go undefeated on the day with a (7-6, 6-4) win at No. 3 singles.  

Kamilla Shulanova gave BC their other win in singles on the afternoon at the top slot with a (0-6, 6-2, 7-6 [7-2]) victory.
