Throggs Neck, NY---BC Women's Volleyball cruised to their third straight win at Maritime on Monday night, 3-0 (25-9, 25-6, 25-13). The Bulldogs improve to 3-1 on the season while Maritime drops to 0-2. Brooklyn will look to keep their momentum going tomorrow, 9/14, at home against St. Joe's Long Island at 7:00 pm.
A dominant performance by the Bulldogs, the visitor went on a 9-0 run toward the middle of the first game and never looked back. BC finished the match with a .426 hitting percentage to the Privateers' -.056.
Named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week earlier in the day, freshman outside hitter,
Aleah Rafat led the way offensively for BC finishing with a match-high seven kills to go along with three service aces. Reigning CUNYAC Player of the Week, sophomore outside hitter,
Ashley Fung, finished with six kills.
Brooklyn served up 23 aces for the match, led by junior setter,
Ezri Shor's six. Shor also finished with a match-high 15 assists on the night.
