Women's Volleyball Wins 5th Straight, Defeating St. Joseph's in Five

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball Team got their fifth straight win, improving to 5-1 overall, as they downed borough rival, St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, 22-25, 23-25, 25-12, 25-16, 15-9.  The Bears fall to 2-1 on the year.

Freshman Aleah Rafat led all players with 20 kills, while also serving up a match-high 5 aces.

Ashley Fung was outstanding as well, notching 16 kills, while setter Ezri Shor dished out 48 assists on the night.

Grace Kane led SJC with 11 kills.

Brooklyn will be at Kean University's trimatch on Saturday for a pair of matches, while St. Joseph's will host Sarah Lawrence next Wednesday.
