Union, NJ---Despite a number of competitive matches on the afternoon, BC Women's Tennis dropped to 0-3 overall on Saturday with a non-conference loss at Kean University, 8-1. Brooklyn will look for their first win of the season on Friday, 9/24, as the squad opens CUNYAC play at home against Baruch.

Veronika Tsiko gave BC their lone victory on the day with an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
Kamilla Shulanova and Isabel Bruschi were edged out in No. 1 doubles, 7-8 (5-7 tiebreaker).
Prado Capon put up a good fight at No. 2 singles but eventually faltered (5-7, 4-6). Shulanova also played a close match at top-flight singles, but was also overtaken (4-6, 4-6).
