Hackettstown, NJ----BC Men's Soccer dropped a non-conference match Saturday afternoon at Centenary University, 3-1. The Bulldogs fall to 0-6 on the season while the Cyclones picked up their first win to improve to 1-5. Brooklyn will search for their first victory as they host Albertus Magnus on Wendesday, 9/22, at 4:30 pm.
Brooklyn senior midfielder,
Alex Sosa, scored the Bulldogs' lone goal in 82' on a penalty kick conversion. He led BC offensively with shots on the day.
The Cyclones struck first in 20' on a Benzik Hadzovik goal off of a cross from the middle. He scored his second goal of the match in 31' to give Centenary a 2-0 halftime lead. The Cyclones added an insurance goal in 65'.
CU outshot the Bulldogs 18-10 on the afternoon including 7-4 in shots on goal.
