New Jersey City, NJ----The Brooklyn College women's soccer team dropped a non-conference match on the road at New Jersey City University Wednesday afternoon, 5-0. Brooklyn drops to 0-5 with the loss while the Gothic Knights improve to 2-3-2. The Bulldogs return home on Saturday, September 25, to host Delaware Valley at noon.
The home team scored four goals in the second after taking a 1-0 lead in 11'. Kim Brites had a hat-trick on the day, scoring the Gothic Knights' first two goals of the match.
NJCU out-shot Brooklyn 46-4 on the day. BC junior midfielder,
Rachel Gomez, had two shots including one on-goal for the match.
Brooklyn keeper,
Angelina Vasta, finished with 15 saves in all ninety minutes in goal.
