Box Score Brooklyn, NY---In what was the first NCAA action back on the Brooklyn College campus since the shutdown of March 2020, the Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball team played wonderfully to earn a three-set, 25-17, 25-19, 27-25, win over visiting Sarah Lawrence. The win improves the Bulldogs to 1-1 on the 2021 season.
Brooklyn showcased their newcomers, freshmen
Aleah Rafat and Sydney Gnaski, who combined for 24 kills. Rafat, who paced the squad with 15, was tremendously efficient in her second collegiate match, hitting for a percentage of .400.
Ezri Shor, the team's leader and senior setter, led all with 28 assists.Â
Ashley Fung added 8 kills for the Bulldogs.
The Gryphons were led by Kallie Ferguson's 10 kills on the evening.
Brooklyn will look to build off their first win as they travel to Purchase on Thursday for another non-conference match.
