Brooklyn Women's Soccer Falls to CCNY in Conference Play at Home

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College women's soccer team dropped a CUNYAC match to CCNY on Wednesday at BC Field, 5-0.  BC moves to 1-11 overall and 1-1 in CUNYAC with the loss while the Beavers improve to 6-1-1 and 2-0 in the conference.  Next Up: Brooklyn remains home on Saturday to host two-time defending conference champion, John Jay, at 12pm.  

The Rundown 
  • The visitors scored twice in the first 5:22 of play before the Bulldogs locked in on the defensive end, keeping it a 2-0 CCNY advantage at halftime.  
  • CCNY scored three more times early into the second half and controlled possession for the remainder of the match.

  • Flor Ramos had the Bulldogs' lone shot-on-goal on a free kick that was just saved by the Beavers' keeper.
